Promotion and support of entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is presented as a basic value that is increasingly rooted in today's society. From Europe, there is a firm commitment to boost entrepreneurship, among students, as a basic competence to develop in an increasingly changing and variable future.
That is why DGEFIRE creates the program for the promotion and support of entrepreneurship in professional education.
The new vocational training incorporates, in all the intermediate and upper-level vocational training cycles, contents related to the development of competences related to the entrepreneurial spirit.
If we are located in a European environment, the definition of entrepreneurial spirit is related to the ability to transform ideas into acts, as well as the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve certain goals. The competences that relate to it are creativity, innovation, risk taking and the ability to overcome, especially. It would be necessary to develop these competences in a transversal way so that future professionals are able to properly manage creativity situations and be competent in personal autonomy, initiative, detection of opportunities and the acquisition of resources. In this sense, both can be an entrepreneur working in the company itself, as working for someone else's business (intra-entrepreneurship). Having an entrepreneurial attitude makes being more competitive and, consequently, more competitive in the company.
